The 2017 Novozymes Prize Winner's Symposium on 


"With the discovery that the bacterial virus protection system known as CRISPR-Cas can be recruited for genome-editing in virtually any organism, technological developments involving genome engineering and other types of synthetic biology designs and optimization now progress much faster, and previous bottlenecks in investigations of cells and organisms have been largely eliminated”.
