2012 - First Copenhagen Bioscience Conference is held
In June, the Foundation holds The Stem Cell Niche as the first in the series of Copenhagen Bioscience Conferences [link]. Arranged together with the Danish Center for Stem Cell Research (DanStem) at the University of Copenhagen, the three-day Conference gathers 180 researchers from 24 countries. The Copenhagen Bioscience Conferences provide participants with a forum for interdisciplinary scientific debate and networking opportunities and promote international awareness about Copenhagen as a beacon of research within biomedicine and biotechnology. The Foundation is planning two Conferences annually.
