Talented young people collaborating on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals

The UNLEASH project is inviting 1000 talented young people (20–35 years old) to Denmark in August 2017 to collaborate on specific ways to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

These people will meet in Copenhagen for 2 days. Then they will then be distributed across various Danish popular education schools for a week, and there they will work together with actors from the private sector, research institutions, foundations, associations and the like. The results of their work will then be presented as part of Aarhus 2017, the celebration for the Danish city designated the European Capital of Culture in 2017. In addition, a global team will be established for each Sustainable Development Goal that will continue working on finding specific solutions to the Goals.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation has awarded a grant of DKK 2 million to UNLEASH.
