Pioneer Innovator Grant
Purpose
The Pioneer Innovator Grant is a stimulus fund established to accelerate commercialization of research findings and development of novel technologies within the health sciences.
Areas of support
The Pioneer Innovator Grant seeks to support research within Life Science (medtech, industrial biotech, or pharma) and to stimulate the evaluation of ideas that may lead to the development of new medical treatment, disease prevention, diagnostic methods as well as new health technologies and devices to benefit people and society.
Eligibility
For the Pioneer Innovator Grant, the main applicant can be a faculty member, researcher, and student employed at universities, hospitals, or other knowledge institutions in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland). Projects from incubator development programs are also eligible.
Funding
The total grant budget is DKK 35 million in 2021. Each granted project can receive a grant of up to DKK 1 million for one year.
