The Committee on Nutrition implements the Board of the Foundation’s granting decisions for the open call “Project Grants for Research within Nutrition Related to CMDs”.
The Novo Nordisk Foundation Board has established an annual grant budget of DKK 30 million as part of a three-year pilot open competition initiative to support research within nutrition and cardiometabolic diseases, via the applications evaluated by the Committee on Nutrition. These grants are awarded once annually following separate calls for applications, from 2025 to 2027.
The Committee on Nutrition is composed of five international experts within the field, consisting of a Chair and four other members. The Board of the Foundation selects the members in accordance with the general rules covering the Foundation’s committees.
