Cluster Days is an annual networking event for the Novo Nordisk Foundation grant holders. The event consists of two one-day events for respectively Senior and Junior staff. For Junior staff, we refer to this event page. The days offer intense networking and inspiration for and by staff at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Research Centres, major Novo Nordisk Foundation investigator grant holders and Steno Diabetes Center researchers. The theme for Senior Cluster Day 2021 is ‘Translating Science Beyond Academia’.

  • Natural & Technical Sciences: Breaking beyond academia: What are your thoughts on translating basic research and education within the natural and technical sciences into societal value creation? We hope for a vivid discussion and are also available for questions on our focus areas and funding opportunities.
  • BioMedicine & Health Sciences: Basic, translational and clinical research. Strategic focus areas: Health data, innovative therapies, coherence in health care, and infectious disease
  • BioTech: Bring your questions to the Biotechnology team and get informed about the strategy for industrial and environmental biotechnology, and plant-agriculture-food areas. We hope to stimulate discussions on mission driven programs and translation to impact on sustainability.
  • Precision Cardiometabolic Medicine: From biomedical research to clinical practice. Hosted by Paul Franks and Allan Mønsted Hansen from Patient Care department in NNF.
  • Innovation: Focus on the NNF-BII-Novo Seeds Innovation pipeline “From bright ideas to better healthcare”
