On September 19, the Novo Nordisk Foundation is hosting a conference on Open Innovation in Science (OIS).

The invited speakers include international experts within open initiatives. The experts will tell about their approach to collaboration between academia and industry.

For instance they will tell:

• How academia and industry can use openness to accelerate innovation.
• The potential and limitations of OIS – within different scientific fields.
• The future uses of “no-patent” collaborations.
