Novo Nordisk Foundation Prize for Natural Science Teachers at Universities 2025

Nominate your candidate for the Novo Nordisk Foundation Award for Natural Science Teachers at Universities 2025. 

The award is given to a team of two or three teachers who have jointly made an outstanding contribution to educating and qualifying the country’s future natural science students at universities in the Danish Realm, serving as an inspiration at the international level. 

Teachers must be permanent employees at the associate professor level or higher, or on tenure track at the assistant professor level and teach natural science subjects in natural science programmes at universities in the Danish Realm. 

Students and colleagues affiliated with the university can submit proposals to the pro-rector/pro-dean for education, but the nomination must be made via the pro-rector for education (or the pro-dean on behalf of the pro-rector). The nominated teachers must agree to be nominated. 

The deadline for submitting nominations is 22 November 2024 at 12:00 noon. 

Teams of candidates for the award are nominated by filling out the form below. A justification (Justification 1) with specific examples of special efforts can be provided for the four general evaluation criteria (max. 1,000 characters per field). Please note that not all criteria need to be met for the nominated teachers to be considered. The award winners will be selected by the Committee for the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s Teaching Awards and will be contacted directly in February 2025. 

The award will be presented at a reception during the university festival or at the annual teaching symposium at the university.
