RECRUIT – Grants for international recruitment (expected call opening: October 2023)

Purpose

The NNF RECRUIT programme: Extended to cover both Biotechnology and the Natural and Technical sciences

Following a three-year trial period and a positive reception of the RECRUIT programme, the Foundation is excited to announce that RECRUIT will be extended for five years and expanded from a natural and technical sciences-centric programme to also covering the biotechnology area.

The RECRUIT programme aims to accelerate talent attraction and high-level recruitment within fundamental research and sustainability across academic career levels at the assistant, associate or full professor level. Research in natural and technical sciences and biotechnology often border one another and are rooted in the same university faculties. From 2024, the RECRUIT programme is therefore expanded to cover these research areas in alignment with the NNF 2030 Strategy.

The RECRUIT call, covering biotechnology and natural and technical sciences, is expected to open in October 2023. Further details will be announced in due time.
