Magnus, Gregers, and Ditlev are lecturers at Aarhus University, where they have been dedicated to improving the teaching of biochemistry in the Bachelor’s programme in molecular biology since 2017.
The team has demonstrated an impressive ability to collaborate on the development of teaching materials and learning courses. Their focus on using software from cutting-edge research and incorporating artificial intelligence into the curriculum has motivated students to engage more deeply in their studies.
By involving senior students in the development of course programmes, the team has ensured that the teaching is both academically relevant and pedagogically strong. Their work in creating coherence and progression in the learning courses has required a high degree of coordination, which they have mastered to perfection. This has led to a stimulating learning environment where students experience success and achieve a deeper understanding of complex subjects.
With this award, Magnus, Gregers, and Ditlev are honoured for their extraordinary efforts and commitment to combining core academic competencies with artificial intelligence, as well as for their inclusion of student voices and bridge-building to secondary schools.
