Symposium on Scientific Creativity

Symposium on Scientific Creativity

Inner Dynamics of Creative Environments

What characterizes creative environments?

The international seminar “Inner dynamics of creative environments”, organized by the Niels Bohr Archive, addresses this question.

The point of departure is Niels Bohr’s institute between the world wars, which, if any, was a creative environment and which can serve as a model for studies of other creative environments.

8 speakers give talks during the symposium.

The symposium is to support the Niels Bohr Archive’s planned activities directed towards the establishment of a research unit focusing on the inner dynamics of scientific creativity.

The symposium will take place at the Carlsberg Academy in Copenhagen on 8 June from 9am until 2pm and is open to all. Deadline for registration is May 31.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation has awarded DKK 100.000 to the Niels Bohr Archive for organizing the symposium.
