Beskrivelse

This 4-day professional development course is designed to support high school teachers in integrating AI-supported creative pedagogies - such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL) - to foster students’ creative problem-solving skills and prepare them for future challenges. This course is organized in English but open to assignments in Danish.

Participants will explore how AI tools can enhance student engagement, inquiry, collaboration, and creativity in various subjects in nature science. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative curriculum design sessions, teachers will gain practical strategies for implementing AI in ways that align with human-centric and ethical teaching values.

Accordingly, the course has the following objectives:
1) to understand the role of AI in education and its implications for creative teaching and learning,
2) to explore AI-supported student-centred pedagogies such as PBL, as well as various creativity development methods,
3) to design and implement lesson plans that integrate AI to support students’ creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, and
4) to reflect on ethical, social, and pedagogical considerations of integrating AI into teaching and learning in Danish high schools.
