A documentary featuring the harrowing tale of a young woman and her mother confronting what happens when the human immune system becomes compromised and the drugs stop working. ‘Maddie’s Transplant’ is part of Holobiome, a multipart film series exploring the present and future-past of antibiotics and our relationship to the microbial world. Holobiome is created by Michael Graziano and funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
