The Novo Nordisk Foundation wishes to congratulate Her Majesty Queen Margrethe on the occasion of her 80th birthday by awarding DKK 1.94 million to Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik’s Foundation with the aim of supporting projects with a scientific or social purpose.
Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik’s Foundation has helped to realize many important projects in excellent and relevant grant areas that the Novo Nordisk Foundation wishes to support.
Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik’s Foundation was established in 1970 and provides grants for cultural, scientific and social purposes in the form of specific projects. It has supported many deserving organizations, individuals, museums and other projects over the years. In 2019, Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik’s Foundation awarded more than DKK 6.9 million for 97 projects.
