The Novo Nordisk Foundation has opened the 2016 application round for its Challenge Programme.
The Programme aims to contribute to strengthening and developing Denmark’s biomedical and biotechnological research environment. The Programme gives outstanding researchers the opportunity to establish smaller, collaborative centres with a unifying mission and vision and long-term support that enables scientific focus and depth and close synergy between research groups.
2016 research themes
• Antibiotic resistance and/or alternative antibiotics
• Oral drug delivery of biopharmaceuticals
A total of up to DKK 360 million is available for up to six grants of DKK 60 million.
Project grants will be awarded following a two-stage evaluation process. The Novo Nordisk Foundation will establish a thematic evaluation committee after the deadline expires.
The deadline for submitting expressions of interest in stage 1 is 16:00 (CET) on 10 February 2016.
