The Foundation has opened the 2016 application round for grants under the Novo Nordisk Foundation Interdisciplinary Synergy Programme.
The Programme seeks to support high-risk/high-gain research projects across scientific, institutional and national borders and thereby stimulate the creation of a modern synergistic research culture.
Projects should convene researchers from a broad range of scientific disciplines to solve the biomedical and biotechnological challenges within health and improving the use of natural resources.
Up to DKK 120 million is available for up to 8 grants of DKK 15 million each.
The project grants will be allocated following a two-stage evaluation process by the Committee on the Novo Nordisk Foundation Interdisciplinary Synergy Programme and international peers.
The deadline for submitting expressions of interest in stage 1 is 16:00 (CET) on 19 January 2016.
