Employee representative Karen Lauberg Lauritsen, Novo Nordisk A/S, resigned from the Board of the Novo Nordisk Foundation on 31 December 2015 in connection with her leaving Novo Nordisk A/S.
Désirée J. Asgreen, Project Director, Diabetes Finished Products, Novo Nordisk A/S, who acted as Karen Lauberg Lauritsen’s alternate on the Board, became a member of the Board on 1 January 2016.
Désirée J. Asgreen, who has an MSc in chemistry from the Technical University of Denmark, has been employed by Novo Nordisk A/S since 1997.
