The Novo Nordisk Foundation has just awarded two Research Stipends in General Practice to stimulate GPs to do research within general practice and family medicine, through a flexible stipend that will allow them to combine their work in the clinic with a research project with the ultimate goal that primary care will become more evidence based.
The grants are awarded in open competition following a call for applications, which the Foundation’s Committee on Clinical and Translational Medicine assesses. Each grant is of up to DKK 1.6 million over a period of 4 years. The Foundation received five applications, with a combined requested sum of DKK 8 million.
A list of grants with the names of the grant recipients and their project titles is available here.
