The Novo Nordisk Foundation presented the Science Teacher Prize this week to Jens Valdemar Madsen (second from left), Randers Realskole, and Aff Hjarnø (second from right), Store Heddinge School.
The ceremony took place during the finals of Unge Forskere (Young Scientists) at the Science in Forum fair at Forum Copenhagen. The Foundation awards two Science Teacher Prizes annually; each is accompanied by DKK 250,000, divided into a personal award of DKK 50,000 and DKK 200,000 to the school to be used for developing science teaching.
