Steffen Lüders, 52, former CEO of Mannov A/S, has been appointed as the new head of communication and stakeholder relations for the Novo Nordisk Foundation and Novo A/S.
Steffen Lüders was CEO of Mannov from 1995 to 2012, when he was succeeded by Reinholdt Schultz. Since then he has been a full-time Executive Chairman of the Mannov Board of Directors.
“Mannov has been a fantastic place to work for nearly 25 years, with talented colleagues and challenging projects. I would have been delighted to continue working there, but now I have an opportunity that is simply impossible to turn down. The Novo Nordisk Foundation has increased its level of activity in recent years and is at a very exciting stage in its development. I am really looking forward to being part of this.”
Steffen Lüders takes up the newly created post at the Novo Nordisk Foundation and Novo A/S on 1 June 2016. Steffen will continue to work at Mannov A/S until then.
