We want to improve treatment outcomes and combat the spread of cardiometabolic disease globally. We therefore support initiatives to improve the understanding of disease mechanisms, thereby paving the way for a patient-centred approach to detecting, managing and treating disease.
Our goals are to:
- Support research that promotes the biological understanding of cardiometabolic disease to develop new therapies and treatment paradigms
- Develop precision medicine by promoting research and analytical methods and tools in diagnostics and disease management
- Make the management of cardiometabolic disease more patient-centred and create the basis for a more systematic approach to developing this field
