Committee on Science Education and Outreach

The Committee on Science Education and Outreach implements the decisions of the Foundation’s Board to award grants for projects within natural science education, research on natural science education and natural science outreach.

Each year, the Foundation’s Board allocates a grant budget for project grants under the Foundation’s science education and outreach activities. The Board also allocates grant amounts for open calls for applications based on specific themes. The grants are awarded twice each year based on the Committee’s assessment of the applications submitted.

The Committee on Science Education and Outreach was established in 2018 and comprises a Chair and seven members from Denmark and Norway. The Foundation’s Board appoints the Committee’s Chair and other members in accordance with the rules governing the Foundation’s committees.
