Committee on Industrial Biotechnology and Environmental Biotechnology

This committee implements the Board of the Foundation’s granting decision for the support of project grants, postdoctoral fellowships and research leader grants for research within industrial biotechnology and environmental biotechnology.

The Novo Nordic Foundation Board has established an annual grant budget of DKK 115 million (€15.3 million), allocated between project grants (DKK 30 million), postdoctoral fellowships (DKK 25 million) and research leader grants (DKK 60 million), within this research field. Project grants, postdoctoral fellowships and research leader grants are awarded once annually following separate calls for applications.

The Committee on Industrial Biotechnology and Environmental Biotechnology was established in 2020 and has six-seven members, consisting of a Chair and five-six other members. The Board of the Foundation selects the members in accordance with the general rules covering the Foundation’s committees.
