Co-applicants must have formal research competence (PhD or the equivalent) and must have documented research activity. Co-applicants should be affiliated with a Danish university, hospital or other non-profit research institution.

Please note, it is a requirement that the project period is 5 years.

Research field

The Nursing Research Programme targets nursing research on disease prevention and health promotion, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care and research on management and organization within the health care system with the overall purpose of improving treatment results and human health.

Funding

One 5-year research project can be awarded with approximately DKK 1,5 million per year for a total budget of up to DKK 7,5 million.

Application process

Please note that the application process has been changed. It is no longer a two-phased application process. Main applicants must be prepared to participate in an interview with the Committee on Nursing Research. Applicants selected for an interview will be notified at the beginning of May, and their applications will be submitted to external peer review. Please read the guidelines carefully.

The application must be completed and submitted using the foundation’s application system. Before initiating the application process, it is important to carefully read the Informaton and guidelines for applicants”, accessed via ‘How to apply’ above. Additional essential information on the call and application process is found in these guidelines.
