Committee for the Natural and Technical Sciences

Committee for the Natural and Technical Sciences implements the Board of the Foundation’s granting decisions for the support of fundamental research within the natural and technical sciences in Denmark.

The Board has established an annual granting budget of DKK 186 million, allocated to Project Grants in the Natural and Technical Sciences (DKK 60 million) and the NERD – New Exploratory Research and Discovery programme (DKK 126 million) within the research fields.

The Committee was established in 2020 and currently has nine members, consisting of a Chair and eight other members. The Board of the Foundation selects the members in accordance with the general rules covering the Foundation’s committees.
