Reducing the quantity of greenhouse gases in the Earth’s atmosphere is absolutely key to mitigating the effects of climate change.
Many of the technologies that have been developed and are intended to mitigate climate change are still at an early stage. Considerable effort will be required in both research and upscaling before they can be implemented in society. Researchers, industry and policy-makers must therefore collaborate closely to select and develop the technologies to be pursued.
Our goals are to:
- Promote research on and technological development in capturing, recycling and storing carbon dioxide
- Promote research on reducing greenhouse-gas emissions
- Strengthen the innovation value chain for technologies that mitigate climate change
