Launch of the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Genomic Mechanisms of Disease

5. december 2022

Tilmeld

Please join us for the Launch Event for the newly established Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Genomic Mechanisms of Disease at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. The event takes place in Tuborg Havn on Monday 5 December.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF) and the Broad Institute have recently announced a new mission-driven research center that aims to uncovering the biological mechanisms underlying the known genetic associations of type 2 diabetes (T2D) and obesity. Understanding how genetic variation may lead to disease could translate to better diagnostics, prevention and treatment of common complex diseases like Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity.

The center represents a new collaborative model that bridges the vibrant Danish life sciences ecosystem with world-leading research institutions in Boston.
