Novo Nordisk Fonden uddeler hvert år op til 12,6 mio. kr. til ph.d.- og postdoc-stipendier inden for sygeplejeforskning. I år blev fejringen af de seneste to års modtagere af stipendierne slået sammen som en del af arrangementet Nursing Research Symposium 2021, der blev afholdt under temaet ”Research in health and well-being among older adults”.
Arrangementet afholdes en gang om året, men måtte i 2020 aflyses pga. COVID-19. I år blev symposiet afholdt delvist fysisk og delvist online. Forventningen er, at det næste år kan afholdes fysisk, da et af formålene med arrangementet netop er, at deltagerne kan møde hinanden for at styrke det faglige netværk og dele viden.
Næste års symposium afholdes d. 20. april 2022 under temaet “Nursing approaches to symptom management – diversity in interventions and outcomes”.

Beløbet for ph.d.-stipendierne er op til 2,0 mio. kr., mens beløbet for postdoc-stipendierne er op til 2,2 mio. kr.
