2022 marks an incredibly exciting year. For the first time in Tour de France history, Denmark will host the ‘Grand Départ’ – that is the opening ceremony and first 3 stages of the Tour de France across Denmark – starting in Copenhagen.

The Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports at the University of Copenhagen will celebrate the Grand Départ by hosting a 3-day symposium featuring internationally acclaimed experts and talented researchers in exercise and sports science.
